Like many others, I firmly believe Wave Rod’s Jeremy Fry lifted his shapes from the genius mind of Joe Blair. That sucks bigtime. My opinion: no one should ever buy a Waverod board. And … everyone should go out of their way to spread the word to never ever buy a Wave Rod stand up paddle board. Never.

Fortunately I live in America and in America we have a free market system. Build a better mouse trap or have a better marketing strategy and then we all have more choices. Live in a country where the ruling government builds the only stand up paddle board and allows no others to be sold in the country then we all have only one choice. i recently got ripped off by him while on vacation. never never buy one!!!
JF boards are now his own shape. Plus all his boards are handshaped so they are all different, also, blair should be stoked that JF thought he had a good shape. All shapers copy other shapers. I am a shaper and i get people always asking me to copy this board and that board. then i find ways to improve the board. thats how all shapers come up with better boards constantly
